Choir
The Mosaic choir is an all-volunteer group open to singers of all ages and experience levels. We lead Sunday worship about once a month, in addition to every Easter and Christmas Eve. We often sing traditional anthems and hymns, but we also lead alongside both our instrumental ensemble and contemporary praise team. We get together every Tuesday at 6:30 pm at the church office to rehearse, fellowship, and pray with one another.
Contemporary Praise Team
The contemporary praise team is an all-volunteer team made up of musicians and singers of all ages and a wide variety of experience levels. While we do not hold formal auditions, we also do not rehearse as a group outside of Sunday morning soundcheck, so the ability to prepare music at home and be ready to perform well with others is a must. The team serves on a rotational basis, so you can expect to be scheduled to serve about once a month, in addition to Easter and Christmas Eve services. We meet on Sunday mornings at Bleyl Middle School, ready to rehearse by 9 am.
Ensemble
The Mosaic instrumental ensemble is an all-volunteer group open to instrumentalists who can read music and follow a director. We lead Sunday worship about once a month, in addition to every Easter and Christmas Eve. This group is led by Matt Utter and presents a wide variety of music styles to support both traditional and contemporary worship. We rehearse most Wednesdays at 6:30 pm at Truitt Middle School, located at 6600 Addicks Satsuma Rd, Houston, TX 77084.
