Make a Difference at Hamilton Elementary as a Mentor

A small investment of time can make a lasting difference in the life of a student.

Mosaic is inviting volunteers to serve as mentors at Hamilton Elementary, one of our community mission partners. Whether you enjoy building relationships, encouraging young people, or simply being a consistent and caring presence, there is a place for you.

What Does a Mentor Do?

Mentors meet one-on-one with a student at their school for approximately 30 minutes each week. These meetings focus on building a positive relationship and supporting the student’s personal, social, and academic growth.

Mentors are not expected to have all the answers. They simply offer encouragement, consistency, and a trusted adult presence. Over time, these relationships can help students grow in confidence, character, and hope for the future.

The CFISD Mentor Program partners with volunteers from businesses, faith communities, nonprofit organizations, the wider community, and CFISD. Together, these volunteers encourage students from elementary school through high school to remain engaged in their education and begin imagining their future goals.
