Back to School Sunday

Back-to-School Celebration at Mosaic

A new school year brings fresh routines, new classrooms, big feelings, and plenty of possibility. Before the backpacks are packed and the alarms are set, join us for a special morning of worship, prayer, and celebration for students, families, teachers, faculty, and school staff.

Our Back-to-School Celebration will include meaningful moments for every age as we ask God’s blessing over the year ahead.

Kindergarten Kickoff

Families with children entering kindergarten are invited to join us at 10:00 AM in the Teaching Theater for our Kindergarten Kickoff. This will be a special opportunity to recognize this exciting milestone and help our newest students begin the school year surrounded by the love and encouragement of their church community.

Come Early and Join the Fun

Before worship, stop by for a grab-and-go breakfast and enjoy several activities designed for the whole family.

Create a picture frame or bookmark at one of our craft tables, or bring the supplies to your seat and work on them during worship. Families can also visit our photo booth to capture a first-day-of-school-style picture together.

Prayer stations will be available throughout the morning, offering space to pray for classrooms, friendships, teachers, families, and everything the new year may hold.

A Special Blessing for the School Year

During worship, we will offer special prayers for:

  • Students of every age

  • Parents and caregivers

  • Teachers, faculty, and school staff

All school employees will also receive a special gift as a small expression of our gratitude for the many ways they care for, teach, guide, and support students throughout our community.

Whether your family is preparing for kindergarten, college, another year in the classroom, or a year serving students behind the scenes, we hope you will join us. Together, we will celebrate the beginning of a new school year and remind every student, parent, and school employee that they do not step into it alone.
